Professor Arnold spent years researching and seeking records for this cemetery, and published several books about it to the public for free. During this time the administration of the Warren Historical Society were less than helpful and in fact actually removed many markers from this cemetery without just cause. We veterans are hopeful that at least the Soldiers Marker and Unknown Soldier Marker will be be replaced. I would like to see the marker bricks I placed be replaced on the graves that are now unmarked.
